My little sister got this game for Christmas.She brought it to our house on Christmas morning. After a big breakfast of biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage and bacon, she convinced us all to play her game.

The result was HILARIOUS. I genuinely wish I had video, the pictures just don't do it justice. However, I suppose they will have to do. Enjoy!

The baby shower went wonderfully. I am so thankful for all my caring and dedicated family and friends. It was nice to have a little fun and get away from the hospital for a while. I never imagined my son would already be here during my shower but they had pictures of Colton everywhere so I was never very far from his cute little face. Of course just about everyone cried at some point during the shower but they were tears of thankfulness. I am so lucky to have such a strong son and such an amazing support system.

Wordless Wednesday - With Some Words

Here are a few pictures from the surprise 25th anniversary party my sister and I gave my parents this past weekend. It went wonderfully. Now, for house news, we are moving in this weekend!!! We are all super busy so this will probably be my last blog in our old house, I'll be back soon... plus, there is always twitter. Enjoy the pictures.

Weekend Snapshots - Uh-oh Spaghetti O's

This weekend was quite eventful at the Darnell household. On Friday afternoon I took little man to see Dr. Chase because of a rash that appeared all over his body. Turns out that Colton has a penicillin allergy and was reacting to the Amoxicillin they gave him for his ear infection earlier this week. We got that straightened out and after a dose of Benadryl and instructions to never let Colton have anything in the penicillin family ever again, all was once again well.

Saturday, after cleaning the entire house, we went to visit Nana and Pops (my mom and dad). Seth and I teamed up against them for a game of Rook, we won! Cousin Miranda was with us all day Saturday and stayed the night, she was a big help with Colt.

This morning (Sunday) we went to church. We attend Forks of Elkhorn Baptist here in Frankfort, it is a wonderful church filled with amazing people. Tonight, Gigi and G-daddy (Seth's mom and dad) came for a visit.
