Hello. Thank you for visiting Kinnick and Carver's blog. It's always nice to meet others with like experiences. Kinnick is visually blind in both eyes due to extreme ROP. They have removed her lens', iris', and she has about 60% of one retina, and about 70% of the other retina. The retina's continue to be detached in the center. She can see lights and shadows. She wears contacts (when she doesn't lose them). They are +21 and +23. Carver is also visually impaired due to extreme ROP. His vision is worse then Kinnicks due to optic nerve damage. He is also Deaf in both ears - wears cochlear implants. He also has Qaud Spastic CP. Please visit anytime.
